The first locomotive was delivered in November 1959 and the last in March 1960. A total of 50 locomotives were built between 1959 and 1960.

The following graph shows the number of locomotives withdrawn by year.

The first locomotive was withdrawn in February 1962 and the last in July 1969. A total of 50 locomotives were withdrawn between 1962 and 1969.
