Description (1957) Brecon & Merthyr Railway 4' 6" 0-6-2T's, built 1910-4. They were formerly numbered 11, 21, 332, 504, 698, 888, 1084 and 1113. Only Nos. 422/5/6/8 actually carried their allocated numbers. Some of the class were later fitted with G.W.R. boilers. No. 1084 (allocated 427) was scrapped in 1947 and consequently did not come into British Railways' stock, while the remainder were withdrawn between 1948 and 1951.
