No. 3150 has been fitted with the curved front end frames and cylinders (outside steam pipes) of No. 3184 (condemned in 1948). The original frames of No. 3150 had a square front end and the cylinders had internal steam pipes. No. 2123 has been fitted with auto gear.

08/09/1962 Last Trains The last train from Cardigan to Whitland on Saturday, 8th September was hauled by 2-6-2Ts 4557 an 4569. The last train from Kingham to Cheltenham on Saturday, 13th October, was hauled by 2-6-2T 4109 . The last trains from Neath-Brecon and return on Saturday, 13th October, were run in duplicate; 3652 and four coaches left Neath R. at 3-40 p.m. and 3621/93 and five coaches formed the service train at 4-10 p.m. to Brecon. The relief train left Brecon piloted by 2-6-0 46516 (tender first) as far as Colbren Junction and the service train left at 7-30 p.m. (with panniers 3621 and 3693) and arrived Neath 100 minutes late. 46516 returned to Brecon after passage of service train and the Brecon-Sennybridge section was kept open till Wednesday, 17th October for cattle sale traffic.
