Historical Data The HBR was primarily a mineral line but the requirement for passenger traffic led to the design and provision of the HBR Class J, later known as LNER D24. Their principal route was Hull (Cannon Street) - Sheffield Midland. However, on rare excursion traffic they were known to travel as far as Blackpool, Morecambe and Llandudno!
