Description (1957) Churchward and Collett 2-6-2T's, with 4' 7½" wheels, built between 1906 and 1929. They were built for working branch lines and for general cross-country work. Nos. 4575 onwards are of a modified design with increased water capacity, and most of these are still in traffic, but many of the earlier engines have been withdrawn.
