Description (1957) |
Class D9. Great Central 6'9" 4-4-0's, a class of 40 engines built by Robinson between 1901 and 1904 and later rebuilt with larger boilers. Of the 26 survivors to come into British Railways' stock, all were withdrawn by 1950. |
