Class J15. Great Eastern 4'11" 0-6-0's, an original design by Worsdell in 1883 and perpetuated by J. Holden, S. D. Holden and A. J. Hill to 1913. A number of the class worked overseas in the First World War. No less than 289 engines were built, the first withdrawal taking place in 1920, and of these over fifty were still in service in 1956. |
