Description (1957) Class O2, the original Gresley 3-cylinder 2-8-0, built in 1918 and the first 3-cylinder locomotive constructed by him. It differed from the rest of the class by having inclined cylinders. Finally withdrawn in 1948 as No. 3921.

Class O2/1 - O2/4, a development of the original engine (No. 63921). Constructed by Gresley as 3-cylinder 2-8-0's with 4'8" wheels between 1921 and 1934. All the class were still running in 1957,
