Description (1957)

'Class 2' light 2-6-2T's, motor fitted for pull-and-push working. Generally similar in design to Ivatt's L.M.S. design of 1946, but with 5' 0" wheels and 2 outside cylinders measuring 16½" x 24". Nos. 84000-84019 were built in 1953 and 84020-29 in 1957.
