Waterloo Station |
On Wednesday 17/8 an all-Pullman excursion from Waterloo was run to Salisbury (for a coach visit to Stonehenge) and Winchester. The load was eleven Pullmans and the Observation Car (all from the Devon Belle stock), and was hauled by No. 30865 (BM), vice No. 35007 (SAL) which was stopped for tender welding shortly before being due to work the train. The excursion was well patronised. |
