Works Opened	31/12/1859
Information	The company, in various guises, constructed locomotives mainly for the industrial market. They specialised in Fireless locos and crane locos. Barclay's took over the Goodwill of the North British Locomotive Company in 1963 following that companies liquidation in 1962. Subsequently, Andrew Barclay & Sons Ltd was bought out, first by Hunslet in 1972 and the by Brush in 2007.
